it suggests that under their previous policy, their models estimate 250k deaths. But this was based on the assumption that everyone would have access to treatment, which we know is not going to happen. By a long shot. So this number would be multiplied many times over.

So the research recommends suppression through social distancing measures. Sadly, they believe these measures will be requires for 18 months or longer.
