I do. It's the least worst option.
The solution adopted will be the one that pisses off the fewest clubs.
And that's non promotion. Which primarily pisses off 2 clubs currently in autos (who cant prove they will end up there on completion of the season).
Promote them and you piss off prem clubs who will have a tougher season next year, and a host of champs clubs who will feel robbed of the chance of finishing top 2/play off spot. After all - why only 2? Why not draw lots from the play off spots?
What are Leeds going to do? Sue? On what grounds? They have not been denied anything they are entitled to.
If you cant finish the league because of a global pandemic and Govt lock downs, that's sheer bad luck. Nothing the PL can do about it, and 'frustration' comes into play.
If you arbitrarily promote 2 clubs you open yourself to challenge - why those two? What rule says you can do it? Etc etc.
