this is the thing, nobody knows for sure about any of this at the moment

there will be mistakes made, lots of them as a consequence of people trying very hard to do the right thing with the very best of intentions

in general i do have very little confidence in this government to get anything right, based on their ideological standpoint - but this is not about that - for me, i've heard what they're saying and can understand the logic behind some of the decisions, disjointed though they may seem, but to against what everyone else is seemingly doing requires more of an explanation as to why they're wrong and the UK is right

as this all progresses they will surely be updating their models and predictions, and that can be absolutely fine, but it will require a higher degree of transparency and honesty
