Two ways of developing immunity - catch the disease but survive, or receive an effective

vaccine. China have chosen the second by damping the spread immediately while working urgently on a vaccine, but the UK has chosen the first. Our route apparently means accepting that 8 million people will be in danger of dying from it. I don't believe China doesn't understand the herd immunity logic, they're just coming at it from a more humane angle.
