So as far as I understand...
... most people survive the virus. However some of them survive because they get treatment, often in hospitals, in the form of respiratory assistance. Without that, survival is a lot harder. So, if we reach the state when too many require the equipment, deaths will increase, the disease will kill some who would otherwise have lived, and the low % mortality will become more of an issue. Is that correct?
This may be why it’s not just a cold then.
