how will that effect the parents; healthcare workers for example, they going to have to take leave of absence to look after their kids? where does that end up?

it's not just HCWs either it's all sorts of sectors this would impact on, delivery drivers, utilities workers, public transport operators yada yada. Shutting schools won't help.
