Yes I’m fully aware of how they played and that they were nothing like us. I do have working eyes and a working memory, ha ha!

If you look at their regular winning side that season, it was full of free signings and low fees. Yes they spent more money than we have so far, but it wasn’t a lot. Not that I’m suggesting we could reach that level, as already mentioned. That also plays into the idea that it’s harder to find quality technical players for cheap, as our level of success would be more like regular mid table and some cup runs. But it can be done.
