I do like McLean as a player, but think he should be in one of the three attacking midfielder spots - either on the left or as number 10 - not as CM. He just doesn't control the game well enough, or give an out ball for the CBs in that position, in the same way Trybull or Leitner do.

Playing attacking left and whipping crosses in, getting off long range shots, winning flick on headers from goal kicks, are all things I think he excels at more though.
