It's pretty poor

And I can't help but feel that the dropping of Moeen and Bairstow hasn't helped. (as poor a form as they were in, I feel we've been scapegoating our better performers rather than face up to Root's captaincy being poor and the lack of variety in our attack and the poor form of our openers).

Is buttler better than Bairstow?

Moeen had been our best bowler stats wise over a 12month period before he lost form last summer.

As for captain... Buttler, broad, Moeen. Bring in Morgan? It's hardly as if any of the batsmen we've drafted in have nailed it down.
