Perspective from here in USA

A lot of people who are casual Premier League fans saw us win yesterday. It was on network tv here, so would have had an even bigger audience than usual.
There is a big generation of under 20’s who have grown up with EPL very present and accessible - and grew up playing FIFA.
I see kids in ‘soccer’ team shirts all the time. My son’s school is littered with kids wearing stuff from the English, German, Spanish teams. Man City well represent amongst the little glory hunters, as you can imagine.
Point being, we just strut our stuff on an international stage in a way that will have resonated further and deeper than ever before.
I, for one, love that.
