Most of the key players won’t have been on much

If you look st who they are and where we got them from. And I suspect they certainly weren’t on contracts that saw their wages rise to anything vaguely competitive with other prem clubs. This exercise is in my opinion essentially just us putting them on to low end premier league wages so their heads are not turned quite so easily as soon as other prem clubs start sniffing. It’s good news they are all signed up but not that exciting really is it?

I’m quite pleased with the four webhave brought in on paper (not seem them yet) but do hope there is at least one more substantial signing to come.
