this morning, and I had the same suspicions - it's really not that hard to handle a *lot* of concurrent users, and creating an artificial appearance of high demand might use psychological FOMO (since that's a Very Zeitgeist Buzzword Right Now That Cunts In Suits Think They're Very Clever For Talking About In Beard-Strokey Meetings) to drive up sales/engagement
