i personally would have sacked Worthington well before this season

he would probably have gon in February last year had I been the person making the decison - his tactics last year were dismal , his selections were baffling and his defeatist attitude just annoying - at least we could then have had a crack at staying in teh Premier League with new ideas

Failing that , once we hit October / November and we were not doing well , the new signings were struggling and performances were sub standard ( again ) then he should have gone at that stage

It is too late to get rid of him now , too close to the end of the season too make any difference - keep him until May , then let him go and go for it in a big way next season
