I may well be wrong but back in the day when I lived around that part of the world

it was only a relatively short nip down the autobahn to an amusement park called "fort fun" which was largely based upon a wild west town mock up. they had cowboy and indian shows and s**t so maybe they thought let's get some dodgy looking wild west people up with horses from a local business as a show of our appreciation. we could do something similar with the banham zoo monkeys. germans call us island monkeys after all.

not sure if it's that part of germany or what but they did seem a tad obsessed with the wild west. yee har
