Top gear exec meetings:

‘We are the bbc we can’t have anymore white grumpy English makes so let’s get an American, an Irishman, a German lady, two black Englishmen... that will work.’

Well ratings showed it didn’t work and Clarksons Amazon Prime dhow went from strength to strength and became their most successful show.

I’m not sure these two can ever get this show back up to previous levels and Flintoff and Pad might be ‘oh dear’ to some but they will be hoping to deliver better viewing figures because Top Gear was the BBCs most successful world export pre-‘anyone but white English arsehole male’ and they probably realised it and can’t afford it to flop further.

Personally I don’t much like either of the two new presenters, but it will probably be a better show.
