we had a hugely talented squad and wrote it off as a transition year, and that we were working towards some higher purpose. It was a massive cop-out writing off our best chance of a promotion tilt for the forseeable future.

Now we've changed style once again, and have basically gone back to getting the ball out to a fast winger and playing a goal hanging striker up front. And we haven't looked too bad in the three games so far, but there simply isn't the quality of players or coaches at the club anymore to aim for anything higher than mid table imo.
