When my appendix blew up

they put me on an ENT ward cos all the general surgical beds were full. Cor blast me those buggers could snore for England. So I pretended to be in more pain than I was so they'd give me pethidine which knocked me out for the night. Two nights running. Best two nights sleep I ever had in hospital!

Get well soon - really glad to hear you're on your way home but take it easy the first few days (at least).
