It's the older ones who are the best though

The ones you've listed apart from Nic are originals. They always try too hard to spice up the younger ones - remember all Brenda's sagas, and then want to turn them into respectable middle Englanders.
Helen, most boring woman ever even when she manages to stab someone.
Elizabeth - could have been interesting but turned into Lady Sanctimonious, even allowing for her fling with Roy.
Fallon - turned into quite an ordinary character - I remember when her mother was a bad girl rather than village icon - she could do with a bit of the scarlet tag.
Kate - just designed to be annoying and therefore a fail. Nonni - potential there if she comes back.
Lily will be a bad girl and then turn into businesswoman of the year or similar.
Alice - almost interesting.
Emma - too worn down to be true.
Susan - buff said, but at least she is designed to be ridiculous.
Kirsty - so much potential.
Don't mind Clarrie, love Lilian, Jill, Pat and Peggy,
