which rules out about half of the PL

I think he'll either go to a very top PL team (with loan back potential) or stay here for another season of being the big fish in the little pond.

If we make it worth his while financially, a further season in the Championship in a team at the top end of the table (as I think we will be) won't do him any harm at all. He's young enough for there not to be any need to rush to a Prem team just for the sake of it.
