Block A

was S/T holder in block A for years. Moved to Jarrold this season due to persistent standing. Block A was fine until about 4 seasons ago then it seemed we were standing practically the entirety of every game. Had never been the case in previous seasons including far more exciting ones like the back to back promotion years.

IMO the problem stems from the decision to stick an extra row at the bottom of the stand. The sight line is no good and people get soaked when it rains. So they stand. Standing is effectively allowed in certain blocks (D and E?) and in others (Jarrold etc) its not an issue as anyone standing at front would be told quickly by other supporters to sit down. Block A is a problem cos its a mix of people who want to sit and others who want to stand and are confrontational. So I voted with my feet in the end
