And completely agree about the hit or miss nature of many transfers. I also get very frustrated with the simplistic "why don't we just sign someone" view. As if it is the same as purchasing a car.

However, I feel more reassured that we have some kind of system / approach than keep chopping and changing. The proof will be in the pudding though of course.
