Had one of those "I'm from Microsoft" calls this morning

I said "no, you're not - why are you lying to me?"

Him: I'm not lying I'm calling from Microsoft about a technical problem with your computer

Me: My system is linux

Him: Yes, and I can help you with that, I just need a few details

Me: No you can't and no you don't

Him: I am definitely working for Microsoft

Me: Well as it happens so am I. What's your name? I can look you up on the HR system.

Him: (click)

(he didn't pause to question why someone who worked for MS would be using a linux box, but I wasn't about to spell things out for him).
