I had all sorts of excited drunken ramblings to make last night, but as per I took so long to get round to all my post-match stuff that I'd already faded long before I realised it wasn't going to happen.
'Short' version: yesterday was a good day. I did well, personally speaking (& the team did too):

& Shah Zahan (my local) have REALLY upped their game since my last visit (probably spurred on by shifting from a 1-star to a 4-star hygiene rating). Delicious. One of the best I've ever had and it wasn't even spicy; I love spicy, as per Q&A, but didn't even care that this wasn't, despite not having it very often as Clare is not a fan of spicy - even got her into the idea of trying some of their other dishes...
I also now know my new local off-licence owner/manager is called 'Alan' when introducing myself as I picked up a can of Oranjeboom to accompany the grub. He doesn't look like an Alan, hence the inverted commas.

Couple of hours 'til footgolf up Mousehold Heath with the laaads...

There goes my hairuu, he's ordinary...
