In that there are some f**ked up people around and that if you're out and about at night, you should take care not to get into comprising situations where possible but he's not really made the point well.

Also given what he has been through with jail and the courts, you would imagine it would be far better to keep quiet and not say anything that could be taken out of context or even anything that might put the spotlight back on his past as he tries to build a future. That would probably be the most sensible option at least.
