Oh wroth of wisdom

HELP!

How do you remove paint from a brick wall (outside)??
Previous owners painted it in white gloss ( I think ) It's got about 6 layers on it over the years! It's 4ft high by about 12ft long.

I've tried a wire wheel on the end of a drill, but will take about 10 years to remove.
I've tried a pressure washer this afternoon and with a little success, but again it will take ages!

I can't knock it down and rebuild as neighbors won't let me!
