As a fellow Lancastrian... If I had a pound for every time.......

Family ties for me, having never lived outside of the north-west. My grandad still lives in the fine city at the grand old age of 95. My dad and brother are Manchester United fans so I had to go very much against the grain. Don't regret it for a second!
