Really odd thing for May to have done

Surely can win her zero votes on the one hand and lose her several on the other. Really can't imagine why she did it, unless she's

a) having a laugh - I can say anything and the f**kers'll still put me in; or

b) looking at the candidates for her party and calculating that a majority of, say, 50-60 would be just dandy but a majority of, say, 90 or so would include some troublemakers, so trying to shave them off the bottom of who actually gets in.
