I got to sit in a Typhoon at RAF Coningsby once whilst on overtime.

Mind you more impressive was looking over a F117A stealth fighter one night at Mildenhall. One strange looking plane that. Miserable yanks wouldn't let the Brits anywhere near the B2 stealth bomber though or the E3 AWACS. Did also get on the E4B presidents shadow 747 when that came in a couple or times.
