For me he's just been consistently a little bit disappointing from about

half way through last season.

Technically a very good player and when we first signed him most matches were characterised in part by a couple of fantastic last ditch Brady recovery tackles where he would appear out of nowhere and prevent a goal scoring opportunity.

This season that just hasn't happened at all, he's pulled out of a few tackles and there have been a few occasions where I've seen him trotting back whilst the opposition bear down on our goal. He's not been terrible but I just feel he's been holding back and that extra 10% that makes the difference has not been there. The frustration compounded by the fact he plays so well for Ireland and with so much commitment.

I don't hate him but I won't miss him and I actually look forward to having a proper left back and a proper left winger rather than having Brady who can do both quite well but excels at neither.
