i said that I thought he was making valid points and could see where he is coming from

I think however he underestimates the depth of feelings we have for " our " club ( he has been at teh EEN a while but he isn't local - so does not have a feel for the club )He also appears not to comprehend the fact that us WOTB posters are not a rabble of ill educated halfwits , the majority of us have decent jobs , decent intelligence and probably as much football knowledge as he does

He is howevr paid to write about NCFC , we do it because we want to , I will admit that perhaps some of the gossip went a bit deeper than is acceptable, however for him to adopt a holier than holy approach and say that because he raised the debate that makes him right

I do not know Mr Waghorn , but I have found him a decent journalist who obviously has the contacts at the club in place to do his job well, on teh other hand I think that maybe he is using the fact that he is the NCFC writer for the EEN to appear superior to us mere fans - fans who have supported the club long before he appeared and will be around long after he moves on

I have no wish to get into a "he said , you said" argument with the EEN at all , but i undertsand his position and respect it , however he needs to realise that fans are teh lifeblood of any club , football has always been a hotbed of gossip and innuendo and that we are poosting here because we care deeply for OUR club - not because we wish to bring it down
