I've done that there, it's fantastic

the Sea of Cortes is overflowing with marine life, it's incredible, and Mexico is pretty f**king nice too.

You do have to be careful about where you go though - it is the main smuggling corridor to the US, so death is an everyday occurrence, even in a lot of the smaller towns
