Thanks for the word of support for Gemma yesterday

Her and Mrs KC arrived back home around 5.00pm from Trentham were the event was being played after they stayed for the presentation. Gemma had played all three rounds with the winner (1st two were pre-drawn, 3rd was in scoring order) which was tough as Gemma was in contention for ¾ of the tournament.

“It’s a learning experience” sounds quite hollow but it was. Gemma has won plenty of one day events before but not been in a final group at the end of multi-day event and it is tough to handle for the first time as she found out.

Back on the horse tomorrow for one round junior open at a course in Barnet. Plenty of her mates will be playing from Middlesex and also Herts so a lower profile golf day with a good natter with pals afterwards will do her good.
