It could be for the best, imagine this scenario....

This season is finished regardless of what some people might think.

We should be planning for next season, which is probably the biggest and most important season in the recent history of NCFC.

We make no signings.

This will mean the mood of anger, frustration and despondecy around our club will increase.

This will mean fewer season ticket renewals.

This will mean we will continue for the rest of the season with the current squad. This will mean we will lose to Reading and possibly scum and will stutter along for the rest of the season in similar fashion to most of the season so far other than December.

More defeats to add to the air of despondency and frustration will mean that most likely the crowd will snap. Once Carrow Road snaps it will most likely mean that they will continue to do so for the remainder of the season now that we have nothing to play for.

The combination of low season ticket renewals, the crowd turning on Worthy and most probably Delia and Co should hopefully finally get the message home to the board and they will replace him and hopefully get Mike Newell in who armed with a generous transfer kitty will rejuvenate this team and restore and atmosphere of hope and excitement amongst the supporters.
