I watched a documentary about domestic abuse yesterday

It's always difficult to avoid the temptation to compare sentencing. A guy who beat his wife for 4 hours continually and was going to keep going til she died and was only stopped by the police, got 2 years. Her injuries and the experience was horrific.

Is that less severe a crime than getting a bj off a 15 yr old?
