I worked out that in the last 30 days Mrs Walker had spent just shy of ?800 in supermarkets.

Thats ?26 (Twenty six pounds!) a day.

More to the point, there is never, I repeat, never, a single f**king biscuit in the house to give my post-work cuppa a hand, nor a yoghurt, fruit pie, pudding or similar delicacy for afters.

We do have an entire freezer drawer full of blueberries though. FFS.
