Fans in this country appear to have forgotten how to support a team...
...without having their hand held by the club or when the team are winning.
What is to stop every fan in the ground bringing their own flag to wave, why do we have to wait until the club lay it all on for us.
Why can people no longer get behind the team when they are 1-0 down. Most people around me in E Block have just stopped.
We have some of the most pathetic fans in the country. Its not all about spending enough money on tickets and in the club shop to keep David McNally's bonus up above half a million each year. Its not even about the amount of people in the ground.
We know we have loyal fans, thats not in question. Our fan base just isn't as passionate as it could be.
I don't even know whether its the sanitisation of the game over the last 3 decades, i just think most of our fans are not interested in giving support to the team unless they are spoon fed with a f**king clapper.
