Surprised that peer pressure hasn't had him begging to see them!

All of my lad's school have been crazy about Star Wars for ages and he's only eight. Mind you, a lot of that is from the (excellent) Lego version and the (not-so-excellent) Rebels cartoons on TV.

FWIW I actually think the first three episodes are not *that* bad - it was expectations more than anything. The dialogue is just as clunky in Episodes 4, 5 & 6 but the original fans who slated the second set forget they were only kids when they saw the first ones....
