Watching that this morning has really f**ked me off

Ruddy should still have done better and shrugged him off or flung himself on the floor and claimed a foul but it was a clear foul that 9 times out of 10 will be given.

When you look back at Saturday's game and then the games at the same time of year the season we did actually go up can;t help but feel we might have to take our chances in the playoffs this season as we are not having the luck that we were under Lambert. In that season Ruddy actually made a few howlers but we scored loads of last minute goals to win 3 points from games where we probably only deserved draws. This season its been the opposite and on Saturday the two equivalent late chances went over the bar rather than hitting the back of the net. Watford seem to be the side getting the most late goals this season. We needed to win on Saturday to edge ahead of Derby who, despite being bang average, will pick up plenty of points from their last 5 or 6 games. We deserved to win but it didn't quite happen for us.

I remain convinced we are the best side in this division but I think we may have left ourselves too little margin for error. That said, two wins this week combined with favourable results elsewhere and it may all look rather different.
