I object to his views, sure. Completely! But quite a large tranche of voters out there do believe this stuff, and now they have someone who represents them.

More interesting to me, to be honest, was Trevor Phillips' spectacular failure to just label or pigeonhole Farage, as so many others would. He engaged with him. That's the way forward, however unpalatable it might be to some.
