Doesn't look like it. People have been saying the same thing for 20 years now
and it just gets more popular, although the demographic of the match going supporter has changed.
I think the stadiums will get quieter and quieter and that is something we have seen already. We'll see an even greater demand for instant success and more booing of teams and players that under perform.
More and more fans will long for just a cheap day out with their mates and lower level football attendances will grow further. Some, might form their own clubs like AFC Wimbledon and FC United have done.
