The Scorpions

Didn't really listen to them though was, and remain, a man into hard/progressive rock. Friend of mine kept banging on about Mathias Jabs and Rudy Schenker.
So gave them a go.
They were bloody brilliant!

On that theme, Blue Oyster Cult are good live, Hawkwind were (when you could see them through the smoke) and, on a different level altogether, both Thomas Dolby and Weather Report put on brilliant live shows when I saw them.
