"You're just constantly negative! Moan, moan, moan"

Nope. What I'm highlighting is that a handful of us on this forum have employed not hindsight, but foresight, for a long long time now. And I'm hardly just talking about the Arsenal game 2 years ago either.

Since I became a member of this board, I have:

- Excoriated the board for their ridiculous dithering over Worthington - at a time when most folk on here and most Norwich fans were, as usual, focusing on the monkey, not the organ grinder

- Cringed when we appointed Grant, demanding to know why we hadn't chosen a proper manager

- Called where Grant was taking us after a 1-0 defeat at Man City in the League Cup: a performance laughably hailed by most on here. But no no: I was being "negative". Grant was gone within weeks.

- Cringed even more when we appointed Roeder - when, of course, the crime of my feeling a "crushing sense of despair" about my football club was much, much worse in Wrath-land than that football club appointing a man who as good as relegated it. That despair was felt by many, many others when we went down - but apparently, they get to dictate when it's OK to be upset, and when it's not. Bollocks they do.

- Calmly set out the constant incompetence and mismanagement of the board from 1994 onwards. Crime then? "Too many words... you have no solutions" - despite me setting the latter out as well, and most of the suggestions then being taken up, thank God.

- Rejoiced in us finally getting ruthless and making the right calls; saw by the middle of 2009/10 that we wouldn't just skoosh League 1, but would be in the Prem within 2 years after that. Continued to rejoice in the Prem too: my favourite memory being the 2-1 win at QPR/Joey Barton game in the New Year

- Called out Hughton's style of play, said it wouldn't work, and that Norwich fans wouldn't stand for it. And did so after a win too. Yet because, contrary to myth, I'm not entrenched in my views in any way, I started agreeing more and more with mecagoenti towards the end of Hughton's time. CH could see how bad our squad was; most folk on here just blamed him instead. Most folk on here (including myself for a long period) were wrong - and worse, they still can't see it even now.

- Wanted Poyet to get the job: instead, our direct relegation rival nabbed him and he kept them up at our expense

- Warned that if we "got our Norwich back" (as so many were demanding), this would be accompanied with drift straight back into mid-table Championship nothingness. They got their wish.

- Hooted with derision at the performance at Man Utd, failure to try to win at Chelsea (the latter, AGAIN hailed by most on here), and the risible appointment of Adams. Who did I want - who had I wanted ever since Sunderland appointed Poyet? Lennon. Who the board could've got at any point - but instead, they did nothing, so Bolton got him instead.

- Called this season as a write-off after Fulham. The Wrath view? "We have the best squad in the league" (you want arrogance? THERE'S arrogance) and it was just a "bad day at the office".

All this time, a handful of posters on here have been able to see the woods for the trees. Most others are much more bothered about attacking that handful for calling it as it is - and in a year after we got relegated FFS, those calling it as it is are all, wait for it, "pantwetters". Unbelievable.

When clubs like Sunderland or West Brom get relegated, their fans don't stand for the kind of s**te which we routinely do. Surprise surprise: they manage to get straight back up time and time again, unlike us. It's not a "lottery" for them, unlike us; they don't gamble their next 10 years away either, unlike us.

Almost 20 years this board have been here: one inspired managerial appointment in that entire time (who they then helped chase away, and spent the next 2 years slagging off to high heaven). And since December 1995 - since before Delia Smith even joined the board! - we have beaten a higher division team a grand total of ZERO times in Cup competitions; and been knocked out by a lower division team on FIFTEEN separate occasions. 15-0. Nice going.

"You're too demanding! Support your team, thick or thin!" Nice to see so many are so content with a record like that; nice to know that this board could do anything, anything at all, and people would still be called "pantwetters" for calling them out on it.

So fine: call me arrogant if you want. Call me anything you like. But don't f**king DARE call me "negative" when things keep playing out as they were patently obviously going to play out; and don't f**king DARE call me "not interested in discussion" when the handful of us who've been calling it right for years get it in the neck and chased off the board for doing so. It's a Wrath speciality, that: shoot the messenger, ignore the message, then claim it's all "hindsight" when that message is proven correct.
