who IS this mysterious "chief executive" who earns three times as much as McNally for exactly the same job??

They don't appear to have a "chief executive" listed. Not all football clubs havean identical structure you know. They may have power spread among more people, so no-one has the responsibility McNally does here. Maybe Gold and Sullivan are more hands on and take more of those kinds of decisions themselves - and since they make tons of money elsewhere they wouldn't need to pay themselves much (if anything) for doing a lot of what McNally does.

I don't know, and nor do you, but your post is almost certainly comparing apples and oranges.
