To me the sponsors logo can be the only real reason why the rule was introduced. Eric
Hasli was booked even though he had an identical shirt on underneath because the rule is an automatic yellow card no matter what the circumstances.
But as Pixelman has said, I too believe that the reason the law was introduced in the first place was because of the shirt sponsors.
It cannot be anything to do with public decency, because if that was the case all forms of removing a shirt during a game & swapping shirts at the end of the game, would shirley also be outlawed?
