We are not talking about a situation here, where it was only really with hindsight that one could see that it was the wrong one.

This imho, was so glaringly obvious. Surely such a thing should have been dealt with in a better way by the FAB? The board that was put in place not only to try and stop the mistakes that were made with the previous season's transfers, but also to help the inexperienced manager.
