That he was found guilty of rape is straightforward.

And that an appeal against the conviction failed is also straightforward.

You can argue the merits of the case if you like, but I won't, because that is why we have courts, judges and juries. They've heard the evidence, in public, both prosecution and defence, and I haven't. I'm happy, therefore to defer to their judgement.
