Ricky out today through 'minor' niggle, plays Tuesday. + thoughts on game today....

Midfield say really deep possibly due to heat and dereham having 11 behind ball at all times. Overall a good workout in the heat for all players.

Sick of redmonds awful shooting, say what you like about it only being the first game but opponents are only going to get tougher.

Josh murphy was the star of the day. Good at crossing and can shoot on target. Would much rather he played and was given opportunities over Redmond.

Grabban looked good, can link up play. Fast and powerful, similar with lafferty who seemed very good at appearing at the back post which will be seen with his goal.

Hooper looked poor, had 2/3 very good chances in the box and blazed both over the bar. Isn't that what he's supposed to be good at?
