I think i paid ?5500 in 2006, had it for 2 years...

and sold for a little profit, perhaps ?250 after adding ~4k miles. Not sure on prices now but wouldn't have gone down by much i wouldn't have thought because as the bays and splits are dying, people are moving onto t25s and t4's, so their value increasing.
T4 might be your answer, the conversion company is key as well, mine was an autosleeper.
