Even "continuous" broadcast footage is only capable of displaying 24fps

This leaves plenty of scope for fractions of movement which may go uncaptured by broadcast cameras.... As far as I know there are no media trials of high frame rate 60FPS at this world cup (I may have missed this though). The goal-line tech however will almost undoubtedly be high-speed.
