that's the thing about Snodgrass

he has a great work ethic and always gives 100% but I soemtimes get the feeling he does things that just happen to make him look good but don't actually help the team as much as they should. We have never really created much since he started playing on the right, and I don't think that would change even in a lower division. He just slows everything up and can't get the ball into the area quickly enough.

(Wes has these sorts of issues too - all those 270 degree turns are technically excellent and make you go "ooh, what a lovely player" but while he's doing it all the space in front of him is disappearing)
